Health is an important support to deal with the population aging. The demand of medical care and health service closely related to the health situation of the elderly is most prominent and urgent in many needs of older persons. In this paper, the author ifrstly divides the home demand for services into three categories- life support, medical rehabilitation and social participation. And then uses the data of “The National Survey of the Home Care Status” conducted by the national committee on aging in ten cities in 2013 to analyze the effects of the urban elderly’ health situation on the home-based care services demand. Finally, the author proposes to accelerate the development of the health services for the elderly and improve the health level and life quality.%健康是应对人口老龄化的重要支撑，与健康相关的医疗保障和卫生服务是老年人众多需求中最为突出和紧迫的。将居家养老服务需求细分为生活服务需求、医疗康复需求和文化娱乐/社会参与服务需求三类，使用2013年全国老龄办在十城市开展的“全国居家养老状况调查”数据，考察城市老年人健康对居家养老服务需求的影响。最后，提出加快发展健康养老服务，提升老年人健康水平和生命质量的政策建议。
