Top management team ( TMT) heterogeneity has positive effect on innovation decision-making performance. The empir-ical study on 465 samples from 112 TMT in China shows that the TMT heterogeneity of age, tenure, education and professional back-ground has positive effects on innovation decision-making performance. Behavior integration can influence the communication style within the TMT, enhance the participation and close cooperation in the innovation process. Therefore, behavior integration can regulate the relation between the TMT heterogeneity and innovation decision-making performance. Based on these results, the policies to opti-mize the TMT structure are suggested in order to provide some theoretical support for the sustained and healthy development of enterpri-ses.%通过对不同行业112个高管团队465份样本的实证研究表明,高管团队的年龄、任期、教育以及职业背景等要素异质性与企业的创新决策绩效正相关,行为整合通过影响团队成员间的信息沟通方式,促进其积极参与创新管理过程及推动团队成员深层次合作,从而对高管团队异质性与创新决策之间产生积极的促进作用。基于上述研究结果,提出了优化高管团队建设的政策建议,以期为企业创新发展提供新的研究视角。
