提升高等工程人才人文素养——美国伍斯特理工学院的启示

摘要

Humanistic qualities are an important part of the abili-ties for the engineering talents to become a good engineer, not only have a firm professional knowledge, but also have strong in-novative spirit and practical ability, and have a broad range of humanistic qualities. The article analyzes the development, com-position and training objectives of humanistic qualities training for engineering talents in Worcester Polytechnic Institute, USA (WPI), and summarizes the enlightenments from the aspects of establishing a training target system, practical activities and building the project platform.%工程人才的人文素养是其能力构成的一个重要组成部分,成为一名优秀的工程师,不但要掌握坚实的专业知识,还要具有较强的创新精神和动手能力,拥有广博的人文知识.文章通过对美国伍斯特理工学院的工程人才培养实践的梳理,分析了该校人文素养项目历程、项目构成和培养目标,从建立培养目标体系、实践活动和搭建项目平台等几个角度,总结了给我们的启示.
