阅读是语言输入的重要途径,也是英语四大能力之一。外语习得有别于母语习得,不一定听说能力更重要,外语教学要把培养外语阅读能力放在首位,为其他技能的发展打下基础。鉴于此,阅读教学一直居于英语教学的重要地位,但实际效果却不尽如人意。本文简要分析了技工院校学生专业英语阅读成绩现状及原因,以图式理论阅读模式为例,结合专业英语的特点,对技工院校专业英语阅读的教学过程给出了建议,并提出了一些其他提高学生阅读能力的途径。%Reading is an important way of language input, but also one of the four major abilities of English. Foreign language ac-quisition is different from the first language acquisition in which listening and speaking go first, and foreign language reading a-bility should be put in the first place in foreign language teaching, so as to lay a foundation for the development of other skills. In view of this, reading teaching has always been placed in an im-portant position in English teaching, but the actual effect is not satisfactory. This paper briefly analyzes the status quo of students' professional English reading performance in technician colleges and its causes, and exemplified by the reading pattern based on schema theory, combined with the characteristics of professional English, proposes suggestions for professional English reading in technician colleges, and also puts forward some ways to improve students' reading ability.
