The aid for teaching the reading of elevation line and area marks in cartography consists of two equally large map parts placed on top of each other. The first part - the background is a 2D opaque map of a certain space, scale and cartographic content with an elevation expressed by a bar mark and the second part, which is placed on the background, is a transparent, seemingly 3D map processed by lenticular technology with spatial effect with the same space, the same cartographic content and elevation expressed by a flat mark. This seemingly 3D lenticular transparent map is cut into a number of pieces, which are intended to be scattered in all directions, so that the pieces completely leave the space of the 2D map, so that the one who studies composes the individual 3D transparent pieces by placing them on it. a place in the underlying opaque 2D map that corresponds to the relevant content until the entire transparent map is finally folded, which allows the student to perceive the relief of a 3D map with a flat mark at one time and at the same time perceive the relief of a 2D map with a line mark.
