《五柳先生传》是一篇传世名作，文章针对其脱颖不群，成为经典的原因从三个方面探析：（1）虽为史传，却具文学之美；（2）成功地塑造了一个隐者形象；（3）文意丰厚，耐人寻味。%"The Story of Five-Willow Gentleman" is a master-piece. This paper analyzes the reasons of its excellence from three aspects: (1) A historical biography though it is, it possess the beauty of literature;(2) It succeeds in shaping the image of a her-mit;(3) It is rich in meaning and also thought-provoking.
