在英语阅读教学中提高非英语专业学生的写作能力

     

摘要

掌握听、说、读、写四项基本技能是对每一个英语学习者的基本要求,也是英语学习者评价自己语言能力的一个标准。近年来,我国大学英语教学改革中,提高非英语专业学生的听说能力占了改革的主流,英语教育工作者和大学生更多地把精力放在了英语听说能力的培养,读、写能力,尤其是写作能力的培养受到的重视程度不够,导致很多大学生无法在规定的时间内完成一篇思路清晰、语言规范的英语文章。英语阅读与写作同属于英语书面语的范畴,二者关系尤为紧密,如何将英语阅读教学与写作有效地结合在一起是每一个教育工作都应该认真思考的问题。本文在分析非英语专业学生写作能力薄弱的原因基础上,就如何在阅读教学中提高学生的写作能力提出了相应的策略。%Listening, speaking, reading and writing are the four basic skills for each English learner. And they are also the crite-ria to evaluate one's language ability. In recent years, how to im-prove the non-English majors' listening and speaking ability is the mainstream in the reform of college English teaching, and al-most all the educators and students put their own emphasis on cultivating listening and speaking ability. Reading and writing a-bility, especially writing ability has gained less emphasis. All these reasons contribute to the students' failure in writing an es-say within given time with clear ideas and correct words. The words in reading and writing are all belonging to written English, and they have close relationship. Then how to combine writing in reading class is a problem for each educator. This paper analyzes the weak points of non-English majors' writing ability and then provides some suggestions for improving students' writing ability in reading class.
