Smart valve positioner has become one of the critical equipments in modern process control systems. In order to enhance its control performance, a new type of entirely electronic intelligent valve positioner is developed. The structure of this positioner and the main compositions are introduced. By adopting proportional piezoelectric valve as pneumatic amplifying and driving part, and using multiple intelligent control technologies including adaptation, the accuracy and anti-interference capability of the positioner are greatly enhanced.
