Preliminary Study of Jerome Model and Horace Model—Taking the English Version of Tian Jingsha Qiusi as an Example

In this paper, two old translation models Jerome model and Horace model will be compared. Two English versions ofTianjingsha Qiusi by Ma Zhiyuan are examined to see how far two translation models can go in rendering original beauty of Chineseshort lyric.
