The Preliminary Study of Jerome Model and Horace Model

摘要

This paper introduces and compares two western translating theories represented by Horace and Jerome. According to the discussions, the author found both models have their own importance in the field of translation;furthermore, they may be used in the same text to produce a good translation that satisfies both parties.
