Implications of Krashen's Input Hypothesis and Affective Filter Hypothesis in College English Teaching

         

摘要

American linguist Krashen proposed the input hypothesis and affective filter hypothesis which has influenced linguistic world deeply. These two assumptions play an important role in improving learners' language ability in the process of second language acquisition. Applying two hypothesis theories to college English teaching, teachers' aim is to establish a new mode of language teaching and improve the efficiency of college English teaching.
