Interpretation of The Good Earth from the Perspective of Sociolinguistics

摘要

This article is about the study of speech act of the main character Wang Lung and other characters in The Good Earth from the perspective of sociolinguistics instead of literary criticism.This article analyses how the personality,social class,gender,age,region,culture and so on are embodied in speech act by the theory of dialect,power and solidarity.
