Romanticism in Buck—Rereading The Call of the Wild

In The Call of the Wild, the dog Buck shows keen love towards nature and through it, he attains fullness spiritually as well as physically. This attitude towards nature is opposite to the principles on which naturalism is based on, and betrays to some extent the romantic spirit contained in the writer.
