A Survey on Pragmatic Competence of English Majors in an Agriculture University

摘要

Based on the questionnaire of 80 English majors in an agricultural university, the author tries to get a better understanding of the practical situation of their pragmatic competence. After analyzing the results in the survey, the author finds out the reasons which may cause those failures, and then puts forward proposals for teachers in the agricultural university to improve students’pragmatic competence.
