Language Taboo in Chinese and English Based on Different Cultures

摘要

Language taboos are common in all languages all over the world.The taboos refer to some topics,words and language factors that can not or is not suitable in certain cases.There are lots of language taboos in both Chinese and English.As the two languages are studied and taught in the two countries,people find the differences between Chinese and English taboos are com mon and hard to master and use in daily life.This paper analyzes the differences between the two languages'taboos from differ ent point of view to help to master and use the taboos correctly.
