In discourse analysis,different analyzer uses different ways to analyze discourse.This essay analyzes Gettysburg Address theoretically and practically based on Function Grammar proposed by M.A.K.Halliday.It aims to explore rather than literal meaning of the Address from different language structures by adopting some theories in Functional Grammar.
