中外电力论文英文摘要语态对比分析

摘要

To study the voice distribution in English abstracts in domestic electricity papers, firstly, 200 English abstracts are ran-domly selected, with 100 from Chinese electric power papers and 100 from foreign electric power papers;secondly, the number of active voice sentences, passive voice sentences and non-voice sentences as well as each percentages are counted; finally, the two groups of data are compared and analyzed. The result shows that currently the foreign electric power paper is dominated by active structures, while Chinese electric power paper is dominated by passive structures. The reason of this result is then discussed and ways to avoid it are suggested.%是一篇论文的关键，其重要的程度可以左右一篇文章的成败。语态分为主动和被动两种，语态的正确使用是论文写作的关键因素之一。著名语言学家夸克指出，科技英语中被动语态的使用率要比主动语态高出十多倍(Quirk, Crystal, Educa-tion,1985)。
