Analysis on Elizabeth Bishop's Ecological Thinking in'Little Exercise'

摘要

Elizabeth Bishop(1911-1979)is one of the most influential poets.Scholars before have analyzed her works from the per-spective of Feminism,New Criticism and etc. In"Little Exercise",Bishop's ecological ideas are conveyed.She supports anti-an-thropocentrism and calls for a poetic life. Based on the gist of Eco-criticism, this paper explores her ecological thinking.
