三重四极杆串联质谱仪碰撞池的研究现状与进展

         

摘要

三重四极杆质谱仪以其卓越的定量能力在环境、食品、药品领域有着广泛的应用.分析物离子在第一级四极杆中被选择,然后进入碰撞反应池发生碰撞反应生成子离子,子离子被第二级四极杆选择分析.碰撞反应池是三重四极杆质谱仪的关键部件,目前碰撞反应池多采用多极杆结构,多极杆上施加射频电压及静电压用于传输离子.减小离子在碰撞池中的驻留时间以最小化多反应监测(MRM)的串扰影响是碰撞池设计需要考虑的重要因素,各个仪器厂商都有各自专利的碰撞池设计实现最小化的串扰影响,本文针对各个厂商最新的碰撞池技术进行介绍.%Triple quadrupole mass spectrometer is widely employed in the field of environment,food safety and pharma for its excellent quantitation.The parent ions were selected by the first quadrupole (Q1) mass filter before entering the collision cell where they undergo collision induced dissociation to generate product ions,then the daughter ions were mass analyzed by the second quadrupole (Q3) mass filter.The performance of collision cell is quite important for the instrument,most of collision cell has multipoles which are applied with RF and DC to transfer the product ions.Reducing the residence time of product ions in the collision cell can minimize the effect of cross talk in MRM analysis which is one of the most important performance specifications of the triple quadrupole mass spectrometer.Each company has its own patent of collision cell to achieve minimum MRM cross-talk which is used to evaluate the performance of collision cell.To review the development of collision cell in the past few years,the latest designs of collision cells in the triple quadrupole mass spectrometer were presented in this literature.
