美国高校CIO职业化的探究与启示

         

摘要

With the deeper development of information technology, CIOs in American higher institutions are more and more professional: diverse sources of CIOs, strict candidate selection, stabile term, definite role, reasonable salary system, multivariate cultivation mechanism. It can be learnt from them that introduced CIO mechanism, formulated appropriate CIO selection system, cleared CIO position, rights and duties, set stable term and market-adjusted salary system, and build a diversified training mechanism. The implementation of CIO professionalization should combine the truth of our higher institutions, and make sure to change stably and advance step by step.%随着信息化的深入与发展,美国高校CIO(Chief Information Officer,首席信息官)呈现出职业化的取向:CIO 来源多样、人员选拔严格、任期稳定、角色定位明确、薪酬体系合理、培养机制多元。我国高校信息化治理需要学习美国的经验,引入CIO机制,制定适合的CIO遴选制度,明确CIO的地位、权利与职责,建立稳定的任期制度,以市场手段调节薪酬水平,构建多元化的培训机制。同时,推行CIO职业化要结合我国高校实情,稳中求变,逐步推进。
