作为一个多元文化的国家,跨文化医学教育在美国的出现有着深远的原因。从美国的多元民族文化、医患冲突、医患沟通及医学教育的文化能力培养评价标准等方面分析了跨文化医学教育在美国的缘起。以哈佛医学院为例,介绍了其“以病人为中心”的跨文化医学教育模式的四个组成部分:评估文化差异的核心、探索疾病的含义、确定社会环境和参与协商。阐述了这种跨文化医学教育对我国医学教育的启示。%As a multi-cultural country ,the emergence of cross-cultural medical education in the United States has profound reasons .This paper explored some reasons of cross-cultural medical education in the United States including multi-national cultures ,doctor-patient conflict and communication as well as tool for assessing cultural competence training .Then the paper introduced four aspects of a patient-centered model for cross-cultural care in Harvard Medical School :assessing core cross-cultural issues ,exploring the meaning of the illness ,determining the social context and engaging in negotiation . Combined with the experience of Harvard Medical School ,this paper demonstrated some implications for our country .
