Treg/Th17

The etiology and pathogenesis of inflamatory bowel disease( IBD) remain incompletely understood.Inflammatory process caused by abnormal immune responses plays an important role in the pathogenesis of IBD.Recently, two new subsets of activated CD+4T cells termed regulatory T cells (Treg cells) and Th17 cells have been discovered, they are regulated by diverse cytokine and transcription factor in their development and function and they maintain immune balance in common. Some studies have shown that Treg/Th17 balance was critical in maintaining immune homeostasis. The differentiation imbalance of these two subsets may be involved in the pathogenesis of inflammatory bowel disease.%炎症性肠病(IBD)的病因和发病机制尚未完全明确,其中免疫反应异常所导致的炎症过程在其发病中起重要的作用.
