The Wnt signaling pathway plays important roles in regulating cell development and oncogene-sis. As one of the Wnt pathway components, caudal-related homeobox transcription factor 2( CDX2 )was identified as a tumor-suppressor. In addition it regulates signaling processes of the normal cells through inhibiting upon thanslation activities of (3-catenin/T cell factor, attenuating cell proliferation and differentiation. Studies indicate that CDX2 and cyclooxygenase-2( COX-2 ) participate in the regulation of the biological effects of the cell, and there might be an antagonistical relationship between CDX2 and COX-2.
