The development of gastric cancer is a result of multi-genes, multi-factors and multi-stages. The activation of oncogenes and inactivation of tumor suppressor genes can cause the disorder of the cell growth and differentiation,resulting in cancerous change of the normal gastric mucosa and malignant progression of gastric cancer( such as invasion and metastasis, drug resistance, etc. ). They play different roles in every stage of development in gastric cancer,respectively. Research on the function and role of gastric cancer-associated genes in the carcinogenesis can help to understand the nature of gastric cancer on the molecular level, thus revealing the molecular mechanism of the genesis and development.%胃癌的发生、发展是多基因、多因素及多阶段病变积累的结果.原癌基因的激活和抑癌基因的失活可使细胞生长失控、分化失调,从而导致正常胃黏膜癌变以及胃癌的恶性进展(如侵袭转移,产生耐药等).在胃癌发生、发展的各个阶段,这些胃癌相关基因发挥各自不同的作用.研究胃癌相关基因在癌变过程中的功能和作用可以从细胞分子水平上了解胃癌发生的本质,进而揭示胃癌发生、发展的分子机制.
