wh－成分在wh－疑问句中移位操作的主题化假设

摘要

Given the great differences between English and Chinese regarding wh⁃questions, this paper attempts to use comparative analysis to study the wh⁃structures in wh⁃questions in English and Chinese with a view of illustrating that the derivation of wh⁃questions is realized not through wh⁃movement but through topicalization. Rather than the special wh⁃movement in the syntax, this paper proves that the movement of wh⁃structure is just a common process of topicalization to check its feature through moving the topicalized structure to the periphery position of the sentence.%对比研究英语的wh－和汉语的wh－问句，认为wh－成分并非直接通过移位占据Spec－CP位置来核查其[ wh]特征，而是通过主题化过程移位至句子的边缘位置从而核查其主题特征。英语的wh－问句和汉语主题化构成的疑问句一样，都是一种主题化结构的推导过程，是主题化的结果，并非所谓的wh－移位过程。相对于汉语wh－在位语言，英语的wh－疑问句是通过主题化的形式推导而成的。
