语法隐喻理论对paraphrase教学的指导意义

     

摘要

Paraphrase无论是在英语专业综合英语课还是在大学英语精读课中都具有重要的意义,它不但能够提高学生的阅读理解能力,而且能提高学生的英语表达能力和用英语进行思维的能力。但是这一领域往往不被重视,而且Data-phrase教学也缺乏系统理论的支持。文章从介绍Halliday的语言思想和语法隐喻理论人手,从认知的角度分析一致性和隐喻性的实质,指出语法隐喻理论在词汇语法层次对于paraphrase教学具有重要的理论和实践意义。%Paraphrase has its great sense to English majors' Integrated English Teaching and learning or non-English majors' intensive reading teaching and learning. It cannot only help learners improve their reading comprehension ability but also their ex- pression ability in English. However, paraphrase is not given enough attention and it lacks sound theoretical support. This paper proposes that grammatical metaphor is of great significance to paraphrase teaching and learning on the basis of the introduction of grammatical metaphor.
