基于人性论的礼乐建构--荀子人性论再研究

     

摘要

荀子从对人性分析入手,展开由个体到群体的制度建构,旨在解决群体生存的幸福与和谐问题。他的“性恶论”可以被重新诠释为人性自爱论。他认为,人都有自爱与自利的本性,这是人自我提升的原动因,也是利益纷争的起因;无限度的自爱、自利会导致社会无序和混乱;人是生活于群体中的关系性存在,群体的安定由正义所决定。基于自爱的人性观,他建立相应的伦理和法律思想以规范、约束无限度扩张的自爱本性所导致的社会失序;而个体有限度的、被压抑的自爱诉求则是通过音乐的调和力量得以保护、净化与提升。%Xunzi’s thought of social order based on his understanding of human nature, and his view of evil human nature can be reinterpreted into human nature of self-love. First of all, human beings do have nature of self-love and self-benefit, which are the reasons why people can promote themselves. Secondly, self-love and self-benefit without limitation and restriction will cause society in disorder, chaos and wars. Thirdly, people are living in relations of society, and the orders and regulation of society are based on justice. Therefore, based on the human nature of self-love, Xunzi tries to build social orders, laws and regulations to restrict people’s behavior and restrain bad things happen caused by the nature of self-benefit without limitation. In xunzi’s thought, the need of depressed human nature of self-benefit can be protected, promoted and cleaned by music education.
