The research purpose is to ascertain whether there are similarities and differences in rhetorical strategies between English and Chinese research article (RA) abstracts in the area of education. So the structural units of the abstracts are analyzed comparatively by using the Swalesian School’s four moves (Introduction, Method, Results, Discussion) and a corpus-based method. A number of marked differences will be potentially found in macrostructures and linguistic features.%研究[5-7]以及跨文化研究[8,9]。但在教育学领域,缺乏对英汉学术论文的关注和研究。
