高校国家安全教育是培育大学生“总体国家安全观”、提高大学生国家安全意识的必需手段。在我国石油安全形势日趋严峻的背景下，石油高校以石油安全教育为重点和亮点，是石油高校探索特色国家安全教育新路径、提升石油高校大学生国家安全意识的必然要求。石油高校开展石油安全教育，有助于培育大学生的全局长远眼光，增强大学生的忧患意识和责任意识，提高大学生的创新意识和国际意识。石油高校应通过提高石油安全教育地位、优化石油安全教育课程体系、开展石油安全教育“第二课堂”活动，构建石油高校安全教育协同机制，加强和改进大学生石油安全教育，确保石油高校大学生牢固树立保障国家石油安全的大局意识。%National security education in universities is the necessary means to cultivate students’ awareness of overall national security and enhance their national security awareness. Under the circumstance of increasingly serious petroleum security situation in China,petroleum security education can help to cultivate the students’ long-term vision and their sense of crisis and responsibility and cultivate their consciousness of innovation and globalization. Therefore,petroleum universities should give priority to petroleum security education,optimize curriculum system,launch”second classroom”activities,and build cooperation mechanism to shoulder the important mission of protecting national petroleum security.
