从全球视野看, 当下的热门话题"中西之争", 其实是更长历史、更大范围的"东西之争"的一个构成部分.在巨观历史的视野中, 只有东西之争, 没有南北之争.东西之争在不同时期聚焦不同, 但贯穿文明社会以还的长时段历史."东西之争"因此与全球史的历史演进完全重合.从全球史角度看, 东西之争的历史成像依次为波斯与古希腊争战、基督教世界与伊斯兰社会对阵、东欧与西欧较量、中国与西方竞争.目前的中西之争已经从此前的虚像变为实像, 由中国问题变成全球问题.但这一呈像的近景必须在由远及近的全球史进程中才能呈现全幅图景.从东方视角看待中西之争, 中国能否在竞争中战而胜之, 促使人们从东西之争的规范视角、更高站位寻求答案.%From a global perspective, the current hot topic of "the controversies between China and the West" is actually a component of the "controversies between the East and the West" with a longer history and a wider scope. In the view of macroscopic history, there are only controversies between the East and the West, rather than controversies between the North and the South. The controversies between the East and the West coincide with the historical evolution of global history. In global history, the historical images of the East-West controversies are in turn Persian-Greek war, Christian-Islamic confrontation, contests between Eastern Europe and Western Europe, competition between China and the West. At present, the controversies between China and the West have changed from a virtual image to a real one, and from a Chinese issue to a global one. However, the whole picture of the controversies can only be presented in the process of global history. Reflecting on the controversies from the perspective of the East, we must seek answers to the question whether China can win in the competition from a wider perspective and a higher position.
