中华传统文化视角下的教育价值论

     

摘要

Education is a great and special practical activity which takes people as the main object, knowledge teaching and innovation as means and human harmony and progress as the target. The cultural origin of Chinese education could be traced back to the axial age of 800 BC-200 BC, when accumulated the deep cultural philosophy traits of Chinese traditional education. The fundamental value pursuit of Chinese traditional education takes gentleman's personality cultivation as the basic goal, puts moral education in the core position and also includes the unity of education. The new development background of China and the world makes Chinese education value face new challenges today, so cultivating personality should be at the core of modern education, promoting the propagation force and influence of socialist core values be rooted in the fertile soil of Chinese excellent cultures as well as strengthening young students' social responsibility and practical innovation ability through the unity education practice of noblesse oblige.%教育是以人为对象,以知识传授和创新为手段,以人类和谐进步为目标的伟大而特殊的实践活动。中国教育的文化渊源可追溯到公元前800年至公元前200年的“文明轴心时代”,这一时期积淀了中国传统教育深厚的哲学文化特质。中国教育传统的根本价值追求在于将君子人格培育作为根本目标、将道德教育置于核心地位以及知行合一的教育观。当今中国与世界发展的新背景使得中国教育价值的建构面临新挑战,为此应将人格培育作为实现当代教育价值的核心选择,将提升社会主义核心价值传播力、影响力植根于中华优秀文化的沃土中,注重以知行合一、兼济天下的教育实践强化青年学生的社会责任感和实践创新能力。
