During the key period of transformation and upgrade of equipment manufacturing industry, collaborative innovation has become one of the important paths of its development acceleration. During the process of collaborative innovation, the behavior for the participants to choose collaborative innovation directly affects the benefit of collaborative innovation outcomes. Collaborative innovation behavior at present stage is considered as a process of knowledge collaborative innovation. How the factors such as benefits and costs etc. influence the selecting activities of knowledge behavior of participants are analyzed in the process of knowledge collaborative innovation. And it is summarized that the essential characteristic of collaborative innovation at present stage lies in knowledge collaborative innovation.
