英语专业人文通识类课程设置探索——以《中国文化传播》课程为例

以《中国文化传播》课程的开设为例,介绍了浙江财经英语专业在人文通识类课程设置方面所进行的努力和探索.认为英语专业课程设置应在国家经济社会发展和现代化建设的大环境下作出相应的思考和调整,在夯实英语专业学生语言基本功的基础上,尽可能多地开设一些人文通识类课程,以提高他们的人文素质和思辨能力,避免"思辨缺席".%Taking the course An Introduction to Chinese Culture ( English) for example, this paper discusses the efforts made by the School of Foreign Languages of ZUFE in the general education curriculum reform. It main-tains that college English-major teaching should be geared to the country's economic, cultural development and modernization drive, and highlights the importance of offering more general courses of humanities to English ma-jors so as to enhance their humanistic qualities and critical thinking.
