基于COCA语料库的V-ee名词构成特点研究

摘要

V-ee nouns are the systematical member of English nominalization family. The more genuine description of and explana-tion to their formation characteristics can be made based on the data from COCA ( Corpus of Contemporary American English) . The findings show that V-ee nouns can be classified into five categories according to their syntactic properties, and the semantic proper-ties demonstrate the nature of hierarchy and progression. Grounded on the syntactic and semantic properties, the V-ee nouns can be dissected into the most prototypical, the more prototypical and marginal members generally by applying prototype theory. The ef-fective establishment of the formation characteristics of V-ee nouns enables us to have a more comprehensive understanding of V-ee nouns.%V-ee名词属于英语名词化现象中有一定体系的成员之一。基于COCA语料库的语料数据,能对v-ee名词的构成特征做出更真切的描述和解释。研究发现,v-ee名词按照句法属性可以分为五类；其语义特征呈现出层级性和递进性。基于v-ee名词的句法和语义特征,运用原型理论可以把v-ee名词划分为典型成员、较典型成员和边缘成员等,这能有效地确定v-ee名词的构成特征,帮助我们从整体上理解v-ee名词。
