应县佛宫寺释迦塔四层佛像内发现的辽代秘藏中有许多佛画，其中包括卷轴画、彩印版画、黑白木刻卷首画和佛经装饰图案。《采药图》的绘画风格有着明显的宋人影响，是辽代绘画中的精品之作；另外6幅彩印版画在中国版画史上具有里程碑的意义；黑白木刻插图卷首画是中国明清连环画的前身，代表着辽代黑白木刻版画的最高水平。%A great many of Buddhist paints have been found in the 4th floor in Yingxian Wooden Pagoda, including scrollpaintings, color printings, black and white wooden cut and sutra decorations. The author, after careful analysis, deems that the painting style of ＂Herb Picking＂ was noticeably influenced by the painting style in Song Dynasty, and coulcl be viewed as an elite in Liao Dynasty; and other 6 color paintings could be seen as a milestone in Chinese woodcut history; the black and white woodcuts could be thought as the precursor of the script pictures in Ming and Qing Dynasty, representing the highest-level black and white woodcut in Liao Dynasty.
