所谓”中外交流文学“主要是指近、现代（19、20世纪）具有跨国、跨文化生活阅历的中外文人所创作的跨国、跨文化题材的各种体裁的文学作品。与一般的中国文学和外国文学相比，这类作品的独特性在于它们是中国人看世界、外国人看中国的产物，表现了近代以来中外文人对“他者”的互相认知与想象，反映了不同文明圈之间的接触、摩擦、冲突、沟通与融合等复杂状况。通过本课程的学习，可以从文学路径探寻近代以来中外交流的经验与规律，为当今全球化背景下的中外交流活动提供历史借镜。本课程预设为中文系、外语系的专业基础课，也可以作为其它文理各专业的公共选修课。本课程的创设可以弥补中文系和外语系相关课程的内容缺项，突出适应时代发展大趋势的知识模块，补充文理各专业学生的知识短板。%The literature of communication between China and foreign country is mainly the litetary works of cross-national, cross-cultural theme and various types which had been created by the Chinese and foreign writers whom had life experience of cross-nation and cross-culture in the modern times. Learning this course, we can explore the experience and laws of communication between China and foreign country from literary path since modern times, it may also provide the historical mirror for communication between China and foreign country under the background of globalization today. This course is devised as professional basic course for department of Chinese Language and Literature and the department of foreign languages , also can be used as the public elective courses of other majors of humanity, society and nature science. The literature of communication between china and foreign country originated from the medieval times, then develepmented rapidly, its history can be divided into three stages from modern times to contemporary times. The textbooks of this course are two works of the correlation in contents , one is The History of Literature about CommunicationbetweenChinaandForeignCountry, the other is AnthologyoftheLiteratureofCommunicationbetweenChinaand ForeignCountry.
