The all - around progress of society and the comprehensive development of human being are mutually presupposed. The scientific and technological talents needed in the development of the times should not only be with strong professional abilities by also with good humanistic qualities, which is an urgent necessity in the construction of harmonious society and a subjective demanding of the students for their self - development. Currently, the humanistic qualities of the university students are generally poor, for which the reasons are as follows ： the influence of the traditional educational concepts and the social environment, the educators＇ poor humanistic qualities, and the lack of consciousness of the students in improving their humanistic qualities.
