高校图书馆图书资料剔除更新工作之我见

摘要

This paper questioned some views about the traditional elimination and updates of the old or used literature materials in university libraries .For example ,"continuously eliminating the old or used books was regarded as the only effective way of keeping library's quality and its development";"the criteri-on of the value of books is outdated instead of their use value".Meanwhile ,this article combined with per-sonal understanding and first -hand experience of the Rules for Libraries of General Universities (Re-vised) ,specifically brought comments and suggestions on strengthening the management of books ,estab-lishing and improving relevant systems .%高校图书馆废旧图书文献的剔除更新，“只有不断剔除旧滞书，才能健康的发展藏书，从而有效控制藏书质量”、“图书的陈旧与否……必须依靠其使用价值来加以判断”等观点值得质疑，结合自己对《普通高等学校图书馆规程（修订）》的理解和切身体会，对加强图书管理、建立完善相关制度提出具体意见和建议。
