在改革开放以来的社会转型中，土家族女性的婚姻自主权发生了巨大变迁：通过自由恋爱选择配偶成为主流模式，且出现了“男高女低”的条件配置；女性主动离婚数量增加；离异或丧偶女性的再婚被接受，且有一定的选择空间；独身现象悄然出现。这些嬗变的出现，是女性主体意识的上升、城市情爱模式的影响和婚姻市场上性别比的失衡等因素综合作用的结果。土家族女性婚姻自主权的变迁反映了土家族地区正经历着一场现代化的转型，标志着土家族社会文明的进步，但也应该认识到其中的局限性。%Since the reform and opening in the social transformation , Tujia women marriage encountered a great change:through the free love to choose a spouse to become the mainstream model , and the emergence of the “male high fe-male low” condition configuration;women take the initiative to increase the number of divorce;divorced or widowed women remarriage is accepted , and with a wide choice .The emergence of these changes is the imbalance of effects of female sub-ject consciousness rise , city love pattern and the marriage market gender ratio and other factors .Tujia women marital auton-omy reflects the change of Tujia area , which is undergoing a process of modernization , also marks the Tujia and the pro-gress of social civilization , the aware of the limitations should be concerned as well .
