公平与参与:杜威教育观分析

     

摘要

The advancement of citizenship education in the United States lies in its emphasis on of modern dimension. Dewey concept of citizenship benefits from his understanding of the changes of time and the new characteristics. This makes Dewey view of citizenship unique in that it keeps abreast with the trend of time, that it reflects individual freedom in the value system, democracy, and the democratic society ideal dimension. In it, education plays the pivotal role and cultivation and improvement serve as the starting point of individual development and eventually extends to the entire democratic society to realize the ideal.%公民教育之发达在于其对现代性维度的把握,而杜威“教育观”之形成又得益于杜威对时代性变迁特征及内涵的把握与理解,使其“教育观”具有鲜明的时代特质,主要体现在对个人自由的价值维度、民主宪政的制度维度以及民主社会的理想性维度的阐释与彰显,以教育为枢纽,通过教化与培养,从完善和发展人的个体性为起点,最终扩展到整个民主社会理想之实现。
