“仍旧”的词汇化与语法化及相关问题

摘要

最迟在南北朝时期，韵律词“仍旧”已词汇化为一个述宾式动词。构式“仍旧 VP”中“旧”与 VP 在语义上是复指关系，语义重心由“仍旧”转移到 VP 上，“仍旧 VP”由并列关系重新分析为状中关系。最迟在晚唐五代时期，动词“仍旧”已语法化为副词。在类化机制作用下，“依旧”、“照旧”也沿着“仍旧”的演变路径发生演变，即先词汇化为动词，进而语法化为副词。%As late as the Northern and Southern Dynasties,due to its high - frequency use and other factors, prosodic word " rengjiu(仍旧)" is lexicalizated into a predicative - object verb. In the structure " reng(仍)VP" ," jiu(旧)" and VP are the complex referring relationship,with the semantic focus of the sentence being transferred from " reng(仍)" into VP,and " rengjiu(仍旧)VP" can be re - analyzed from the parallel relationship to adverbi-al - qualified word relationship. As late as the late Tang Dynasty or Five Dynasties period,the verb " rengjiu(仍旧)" is grammaticalized into an adverb. Thanks to generalized mechanism," yijiu(±旧)" and " zhaojiu(照旧)"also evolve along the evolution path of " rengjiu(仍旧)" ,namely being lexicalizated into a verb in the first,then grammaticalizated into an adverb.
