Yin、Eisenhardt和Pan的案例研究方法比较研究——基于方法论视角

Case study method has an increasingly important role in academia.However,different methods are likely to confuse scholars about how to distinguish and apply these methods.Few previous studies on business research methods and case studies had in-depth discussions on case study methods from the methodological perspective.Combining the emerging and traditional case study methods,this study compares three case study methods(i.e.,methods of Yin,Eisen-hardt,and Pan)from the methodological perspective.The findings reveal the commonness and differences between the three case study methods.A discussion is given in the final section.This study can provide suggestions for the selection of case study methods and paradigms.%案例研究方法在学术界的地位日益显著,然而不同的研究方法容易使学者们对研究方法的辨别和应用产生困惑.以往商学研究方法和案例研究的文献并未从方法论视角对案例研究方法进行深入探讨.本研究结合经典的案例研究方法和新兴的案例研究方法,从方法论视角,对三种不同的研究范式下的案例研究方法(即Yin、Eisenhardt和 Pan的案例研究方法)进行了比较.研究结果指出了三种案例研究方法的共性与差异,并对这三种案例研究方法进行了讨论.本研究可为学者们选择案例研究范式和案例研究方法提供一些参考.
