《围城》与《死者》在反映社会＂真实＂、探索人生、精神＂真实＂的高超技巧方面有着惊人的相似性,失败的作品可能各有各的缺点,成功的作品却正如《围城》与《死者》,一反传统大范围、大角度地反映现实的手法,通过最贴近人们生活的细节、琐事,对特定人物、特定圈子的焦点描写,同样浓缩了真实的社会现实,揭示了＂真实＂的人生哲理,从而达到＂以小见大,于无形中见深刻＂的崇高境界。%The works of Fortress Besieged and The Dead are surprisingly identical in high skill of displaying social ＂reality＂ and revealing philosophical and spiritual ＂reality＂.Some works may fail in various shortcomings,but other ones,such as Fortress Besieged and The Dead,always succeed in a common method.That is,by focusing on the daily trifles of particular people under particular circumstances most close to real life,to concentrate the social reality and some ＂real＂ living philosophy,rather than describing the reality macroscopically in the traditional realistic way.By doing so,the lofty level of ＂indiscernible profundity＂ in writing will be achieved.
