全球化背景下的中国英语与文化身份建构

         

摘要

在经济全球化背景下,英语通过与世界各地语言接触产生了许多海外英语。其中,中国英语就是英语在中国的本土化。它不是二语或外语学习者受母语影响产生的语用失误。与本族英语、新加坡英语相较,中国英语具有不同内涵。在当今中国与世界在经济、政治、文化等多个领域多元化交流不断深入的社会环境下,用中国英语表述中国文化,具有建构文化身份、传播中国文化、增强民族认同的社会功能,最终是为了实现跨文化交际、与世界文化平等对话。%Due to economic globalization,English has contacted with other languages in the world,re-sulting in Englishes of different varieties.Therefore,it is natural that when English is used in China, it is also nativized linguistically as well as culturally.China English differs from Chinglish as the latter refers to English learners'misuse of Standard English interfered by their mother tongue.To compare with Standard English or Singapore English,China English characterizes with special connotations. China English is considered as a mixture of Chinese culture and English language,a sociolinguistic term.Its content is China-specific while its linguistic form is English-specific.Under the modern social context of multi-communication in economy,politics,culture between China and the world, China English is used to express Chinese culture and identity,acting to construct Chinese cultural i-dentity and spread Chinese culture,which aims to carry out cross-cultural communication and have an equal dialogue with world cultures.
