此小说非彼小说--谈《中国小说史略》的瑕疵

摘要

我国传统小说是指真实的琐碎事件，现代小说则是指虚构的完整故事。鲁迅在《中国小说史略》中把符合前者标准的笔记和符合后者标准的传奇、话本兼收并蓄，犯了体例驳杂的错误。鲁迅之所以这样做，与他倔强的个性有关，更与他对我国传统笔记的偏爱有关。因为鲁迅的巨大影响，此后众多的研究者始终不敢越雷池一步，一直照搬《中国小说史略》的框架，由此造成小说观的混乱，不能不说是一个遗憾。%Chinese traditional novels refer to the real trivial events,while the modern novels are complete fictional stories.In A BriefHistory ofChinese Novels,Lu Xun’s eclectic approach of combining the real notes and legend-ary stories commits the mistake of heterogeneous style.The reason why Lu Xun did so is closely related to his stubborn personality,even more related to his preference for China’s traditional notes.Due to Lu Xun’s great in-fluence,many subsequent researchers dared not go one step beyond and copied his framework of Chinese novels, which leads to a confusion of the concept of novel and leaves us a pity.
