1. Machine making it possible to produce fancy yarns which is composed essentially of a plurality of work positions mounted side by side on a common supporting stand (1), each work position comprising : - a feed source (2) for a least two yarns, of which one is intended for forming the core and the other the effect ; - at least one hollow spindle (13) within the shank of which the above-mentioned yarns pass, the said spindle (13) supporting a bobbin (14) of binding yarn, and the core and effect yarns being conveyed to this hollow spindle by means of delivery devices of the positive-drive type, each yarn delivery device being mounted on a controlled independent shafting ; - means (17) for the rewinding of the fancy yarn formed characterized in that the control shafts of the core and effect yarn delivery devices (10, 11, 12) and of the rewinding system (17) are driven individually by synchronized motors controlled by a computer which monitors a frequency divider + converter assembly by numerical control, in such a way that the said yarns can equally become effect or core.
