母语概念迁移对二语隐喻理解加工的影响研究

摘要

The metaphoric conceptual processing is a key focus in Second Language Research. By examining the effects of L1 conceptual transfer competence on the metaphoric processing, this paper explores the development of metaphoric competence. Empirical evidence for the metaphoric processing has been provided by studies from response times ( RTs) of different metaphors of the E-prime programme. It is found that RTs show no significant difference, but the metaphors with the same conceptual knowledge between L1 and L2 have less error rate than the ones with different concepts. Results show that the effect of L1 conceptual transfer does exist on the learners’ sentence understanding, which means L1 has conceptual influence on the L2 learners’ metaphoric processing.%二语隐喻概念加工问题是二语研究中的一个关键问题。本研究通过母语概念迁移对二语隐喻的理解加工过程的影响来探讨二语隐喻能力发展的途径。以e-prime软件设计实验，通过对英汉概念对等和英汉概念不对等的隐喻句子的反应时等数据，结果显示：反应时没有显著差异，但是在正确率上，前者还是高于后者，说明母语概念迁移确实对学习者的句子理解有影响。本研究进一步说明中国英语学习者在理解英语隐喻过程中的汉语对其产生的概念迁移的影响。
