古代官员之孝的社会责任及其当代价值——以《孝经》为中心的考察

         

摘要

In ancient China, the difference between the filial piety of officials and the filial piety of the civilians lied in that officials should bear social responsibility and civilians generally did not need to bear social responsibility, and the higher the social status was, the more the social responsibility should be. The essence of official filial piety lied in the perfect performance of their social responsibilities. Only by well fulfilling their social responsibilities, could the officials be considered to have completed the obligation of filial piety, and thus got on in the world. Contemporary Chinese officials are supposed to change the narrow concept of filial piety, improve the level of filial piety, not only treat filial piety as a private morality, but also as a social morality. To provide their own parents with rich material life is only a small kind of filial piety, while to be loyal to the state and their career is big filial piety and thus the achievement of"transforming filial piety into loyalty"will be made. Officials should realize that delinquency is in reality the biggest non-filial piety to both their own parents and ancestors.%古代官员之孝与庶民之孝的区别在于官员要承担社会责任而庶民一般不承担社会责任,而且社会地位越高者所承担的社会责任越重.官员行孝的本质, 在于完美地履行其所承担的社会职责.其只有履行好社会职责,才算完成了尽孝义务,方可立身.当代中国的官员应当转变狭隘的孝道观,提升尽孝层次,不仅要把尽孝当成私德, 也要把尽孝当成社会公德.给父母提供丰腴的物质生活, 仅为小孝;而只有忠诚于国家、忠诚于事业, 方可真正"移孝于忠", 达到大孝.官员要认识到违法犯罪, 实为对父母和先人的最大不孝.
