地方性本科院校基础英语教学改革的思考

摘要

Basic English curriculum is one of key courses for English major students at the basic period. It is a valuable subject to form a new idea for the reformation of Basic English curriculum from its specific characteristics in local undergraduate college. Problems exist in the ignorance of the comprehensive ability to develop language skills, humanism education as well as creative ability, etc. Measures should be taken corresponding to enhancement of comprehensive ability and cultivation of humanity accomplishment and creativity.%基础英语课程是高校英语专业的综合英语技能课。针对地方性本科院校的具体特点，如何形成新的思路，对于基础英语教学改革具有重要价值。讨论了地方性本科院校基础英语教学存在的问题，如对语言综合能力培养的忽视、人文教育的淡化以及学生创新能力的欠缺等等，提出教学改革应对症下药，从培养学生综合能力、强化学生的人文素养及创新能力等方面入手。
