Abstract：Mo Yan＇s agrestic novels have been brought us different visual experience and mindsets, his new novel Wa is no exception. Wa speaks freely to demonstrate this series of conflicts about human eth- ics and national will, female identity and male behavior, the birth control policy and materialistic world, self-salvation and ＂continue to torment＂ and so on. It also explains that the society is an alienation of existence.
